Our peace is manifested in emotional and mental stability. The ability to remain stable and controlled is a powerful sign of the strength and composure we possess in Christ. It is a recognizable sign of His power at work in us…even to Satan, our most consistent adversary. (1 Peter 5:8)
“And do not [for a moment] be frightened or intimidated in anything by your opponents and adversaries, for such [constancy and fearlessness] will be a clear sign (proof and seal) to them of [their impending] destruction, but [a sure token and evidence] of your deliverance and salvation, and that from God.” Philippians 1:28
Our peace is a powerful weapon destined to impact every area of our lives. Colossians 3:15 commands us, “And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to which also you were called in one body; and be thankful.”
You can only develop and utilize this peace if you are consistently, purposefully working towards this goal. Are you spending regular time with the Lord, the source of peace, love and sanity?
